ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

please carefully study the following eligibility criteria before applying for membership:

1. Associate Member

• Any individual, firm, institution or association who/which is either domiciled in India or abroad or has a place of business in India or abroad or a company formed and registered under the laws in force in India or abroad at the time of its registration who agrees with the aims and objects of the Association and sympathises with its activities can become an Associate member by applying to the Association.
• The application for becoming an Associate member of the Association shall be on a prescribed form signed by the candidate and shall be countersigned by any two persons who shall be either members of the Association or authorised representatives of non-individual members and one of whom at least shall be member of the Committee and against each of whom there are no outstanding dues to the Association and whose names appear on the membership register of the Association.
• On the application form being accepted by the Committee, the candidate for the Associate membership shall become an Associate member of the Association and shall be liable to pay such annual subscription as may be in force from time to time as applying to Associate membership.
• The Managing Committee in its own discretion may reject any application for Associate Membership and in such cases it is not bound to give reasons for rejecting such application. The Managing Committee shall be final authority in deciding such applications. The decision of the Managing Committee shall be binding on all the applicants.
• An Associate Member shall be entitled to the same privileges, services, and advantages of the Association as an Ordinary Member, excepting:
  • The right to vote for any purpose at the general meeting or;
  • To contest elections to the Managing Committee of the Association, or;
  • To hold any office in the Association, or;
  • To suggest any amendment or changes in the Constitution or;
  • To represent the Association on public or semi-public bodies or;
  • To propose or second or campaign for any candidate for election to the Managing Committee and;
  • Any other right that may be excluded by the Managing Committee.

2. Membership Rates

• Entrance Fee: This is exclusive of the yearly Subscription Fee and is a one-time payment.

  For Indian Companies	₹ 2,000 + 360 = ₹ 2,360
  For Foreign Companies	USD 30 + 5.4 = USD 35.4

• Annual Membership Subscription Fee: Based on turnover (slab system) or fixed fees for specific categories:
  • For Companies (Turnover-Based)
    

    Gross Sales Turnover (Annual Gross Turnover )	Subscription Amount Per Annum (Amount + GST = Total Amount)
    ₹ 0-50 crore	₹ 10,000 + 1,800 = ₹ 11,800
    ₹ 50-100 crore	₹ 20,000 + 3,600 = ₹ 23,600
    ₹ 100-200 crore	₹ 30,000 + 5,400 = ₹ 35,400
    ₹ 200-350 crore	₹ 40,000 + 7,200 = ₹ 47,200
    ₹ 350-500 crore	₹ 70,000 + 12,600 = ₹ 82,600
    ₹ 500-750 crore	₹ 1,00,000 + 18,000 = ₹ 1,18,000
    More than ₹ 750 crore	₹ 1,25,000 + 22,500 = ₹ 1,47,500

  • Fixed-Fee Categories:
    

    Category	Subscription Amount Per Annum (Amount + GST = Total Amount)
    Foreign Members	USD 1,000 + 180 = USD 1,180
    Academicians	₹5,000 + 900 = ₹5,900
    Institutions of Higher Education	₹15,000 + 2,700= ₹17,700
    Non-profit Making Organizations (including Associations)	₹15,000 + 2,700 = ₹17,700
    Full-Time Students	₹500 + 90 = ₹590

• NOTE:
  • 1. Currently, GST being charged @18%.
  • 2. The Annual Subscription falls due on 1st April of each year.
  • 3. The last date for paying Annual Subscription is 30th June of each year.

• 2 Complete the form, ensuring it is duly signed and countersigned as required.
• 3 Submit the form via email to admin.aifi@indianforging.org (cc: info@indianforging.org), along with the following documents:
  • Membership subscription payment based on the slab rate applicable to your gross turnover as of March 31, 2024, plus a one-time entrance fee.
  • Company/Product catalog (if available).
  • Balance sheet copy for the last financial year.
