Highlights:

• Welcome and Inaugural addresses by Mr. Sunil Javalekar (Chairman – Western Region, AIFI & CEO, S.B. Forgetech Pvt. Ltd.) and Mr. Yash J Munot (President, AIFI & CEO – Varsha Forgings Pvt. Ltd.) respectively, who emphasized AIFI’s continuous efforts towards knowledge-sharing, skill development, and industry representation.
• Keynote address by Dr K C Vora (Program Director, NAMTECH, Gandhinagar) on the Future of EV & ICE in India, highlighting that both will co-exist in the near future.
• Keynote address by Mr. Prenayan Kaul (Partner, PwC India) on “Opportunities in Challenging Times”, focusing on tariff barriers, GST 2.0 reforms, and the resilience of the forging sector.
• MoU signing with Hexagon India to drive innovation and technology adoption through establishing AIFI Simulation Centre.
• Panel Discussion on “Current Industry Scenario – Trends, Opportunities & Challenges” with eminent leaders from Sundram Fasteners Ltd., Echjay Industries Pvt. Ltd., and Bharat Forge Ltd. with Session Moderator Mr. S Muralishankar (Chairman – Technology & Training, AIFI and Executive Vice – Chairman, Super Auto Forge (P) Limited)

With challenges such as U.S. tariffs, FTAs, and Carbon Tax, alongside opportunities like GST 2.0 reforms, strong auto demand, and India’s projected $200B auto-component industry by 2030, the convention was a step forward in charting the path for sustained growth.
